Public Bank Berhad - Jalan Ampang Headquarters, Treasury Sales & Marketing Department








On the 27th of October, a group of Public Bank Employees from KL Headquarters, Treasury Sales & Marketing Department came to visit our Home and gave us a generous contribution. They were taken on a tour of the Home and briefed on the activities in our Home.

Our hearfelt appreciaton from each and every one of them for their kind thought and contribution.

Rainbow of Life Forces (ROLF)






On the 24th of October, PKIK invited our 2 young residents Somasundram and Mimi to joined in their event - Grant a Wish on Children's Day 2009 sponsored by Rainbow of Life Forces (ROLF). The New Straits Times Press was also a donor in this event. Soma and Mimi had a great time playing games and entertainment by the clowns. They were also given presents.
Our sincere appreciation to PKIK for inviting us and also to ROLF for their contribution.

Medical Screening




Medical Officers came to our Home to do testing for mosquito related diseases like dengue, elephantiasis etc. 3 of them came to conduct blood tests.

Residents celebrating birthday in October








This month October is Siow Chan Fatt, Lee Tuck Sum and Chow Yoke Ha's birthday. The birthday cakes were donated by our Treasurer Anne. She also contributed Chicken Rice Lunch for the Residents.

Magic Show at PKIK






Our 2 young resident, Somasundram and Mimi who goes to school at PKIK was given a magic show treat. A few of the nurses from Masterskill who are on training at our Home also joined in to watch.

Once again, our thanks to Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd for donating Moon Cake for our Residents to enjoy.

Trip to Aquaria





















On the 10th October, Lions Club of Sentul headed by Dr Rodwin Bahadhur sponsored a trip to Aquaria. Our Residents boarded a chartered bus, sponsored by our Home's Chairman, Poon, left at 9.30 am. They were taken on a tour of KL and arrived in KLCC Aquaria where the Lion's group together with 3 volunteers from UTAR were waiting to assist. The whole group really enjoyed watching all the different varieties of beautiful fishes and the divers feeding the fishes. After that the whole group went to the Lake Gardens where they were given pizza for lunch.

We wish to express our deepest appreciation to Dr Rodwin and the Lions of Sentul for this wonderful outing. Also, not forgetting all the volunteers who came to assist in takng care of our Residents.
