May Birthday Celebration and Farewell for Masterskill Students

On this day, 21st May 2010, we celebrate our Resident's Birthday- So Chai and David. At the same time, it is the last day of training for Masterskill Nursing Students. We wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to Masterskill especiall Cik Aida for their contribution.

Genting Trip with Masterskill Volunteers

On the 5th of May, Wednesday, our Residents went to Genting Highlands for a day trip. Transport was sponsored by our Treasurer, Ann Yap and food and volunteers were provided by Masterskill. Everybody had a great time.

This month, Mimi and Michael celebrated their birthday together with Masterskill nurses.

Maintenance Works done in May 2010

Maintenance Works was carried out at the Home in May 2010 to improve living conditions of our Residents.

1) The Old Roof was dismantled and a new awning will be put in place as the old roof is about to collapse.

2)A new clay drain was installed to facilitate better drain off as the old drain is badly eroded and food and waste are collecting at the bottom giving rise to bad smell and poor drainoff.

3) Tiling will be installed on the floor and on the walls. This is for cleanliness and easy cleaning and upkeeping as the mentally retarded residents are placed here and they cannot control their bowel movements.

4) A new additional fibre glass water tank will be installed in case of water rationing. The present water tanks are not enough to cater for our Residents.
