Flowers for Sale for Mother's Day, 188 tissue flowers was donated by President Wan Siew Leng of Lions Club Kuala Krai, made by her personally and her assistant, Jennifer. Every night after work after 10.30 pm, she will start making these flowers sometimes until 2.00 am. It took her and Jennifer 2 months to do it. We are very grateful for her contribution and wishes to thank her for her efforts. Together with 120 stalks of fresh carnations, all the flower was sold in less than 1/2 an hour.
Our Volunteers
On this auspicious Mother's Day, we had our First Fund Raising Dinner to raise funds for our relocation and also to save up for a piece of land to build our very own Home. We initially estimated only 50 tables but to our delight, we manage to sell up to 110 tables in all. We wish to thank our donors who has helped us to sell some tickets and also the Committee members. This success is a joint effort by all.

On this night, we had the pleasure of being entertained by some musicians from LH Music School headed by Ms. Louise Lee , dancers from Kindergarten lead by Mrs Goh , Lion Dance members from Hong Sheng Koon lead by Ong Day Kok and our famous Chinese singers organized by Andy Gao of Soon Tat Singing Academy and our DJ from Ai FM - Wu Li Jin . Our guests enjoyed the excellent dinner by Restaurant Xi Lai Ton who sacrifice the restaurant for our event for an opportunity to make more money on this Mother's Day. Our deepest appreciation to them.
This event will hopefully bring about awareness of our Home and plight and bring more donors to help us.
Here we wish to thank everybody who came and many who gave invaluable advise and help from all parties concern.
