UKM Students Visit in January 2011

On the 23rd January 2011, a group of students from UKM visited our Home. This is a normal routine every year where students will drop by and organize activities with our old/retarded folks. They helped to clean up some parts of the Home and decorated the place with Chinese New Year decorations, distributed some mandarin oranges, and lucky charms to our folks.

We wish to thank them for their time and concern and wish them all the best in their studies and exams.

On Christmas Day, we were invited by Dato' Seri Dr Vanatiah Anthony to his open house at Sg. Chua. Our old/retarded folks went in one van and had a sumptous dinner. This event is held every year and Dato' Seri Dr. Vanatiah also invited many other Homes like ours.

Christmas Celebration with PKIK

On the 16th December 2010, as usual, we invited aPKIK to celebrate Chirstmas with our old/retarded residents. We prepared lunch for our guest and a Christmas tree for them to decorate. Altogether 25 of them inclusive of teachers and helpers came to join in the fun. Our residents danced and sing with them and also played games. This is a good interaction for them with other people. At the end, they exchanged presents and the pupils in PKIK helped to wash the dishes and clean up.

A very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all !!!
