Great Eastern Agency Super Group Visit

On the 3rd May 2012, about 30 staff from Great Eastern Agency Super Group visited our Home. They spend about 2 hours bringing cheer to our Residents. They brought along food and sundries for our Residents and entertain them by singing and performing for them.

As a token of appreciation, we presented them with our Appreciation flag. Hope to see you here again. Thank you Super Group.

大东方保险的团体探访

2012年5月3日，约30大东方 SUPER GROUP的工作人员参观了我们的中心。他们大约逗留了2小时为我们中心的居民带来欢乐。他们带动了粮食和日常用品，并为他们表演唱歌。为表谢意，我们给予一个旗帜代表感激。希望再次见到你们。谢谢super group。

Dr Dog Visit on the 29th April 2012

This April Dr Dog visit, about 8 dogs came with their owners to bring cheer to our Residents. As usual during Dr Dog visit, our people will be very eager to play with the dogs. You can see from the smiles on their faces that they are having a great time.

Dr Dog 的探访（4月29日）

今年4月Dr Dog带了约8狗和它们的主人来到我们的中心，为我们的居民带来快乐。在Dr Dog的探访中，我们的居民是非常渴望与狗玩乐。你可以看到他们脸上的笑容和他们与狗之间的欢乐时光。再次感谢Dr Dog的团队。

Khidmat Komuniti Bulan Sabit Merah Malaysia (BSMM) UKM

On the 29/4/2012, Khidmat Komuniti 11/12 Bulan Sabit Merah Malaysia - UKM visited our Home. 16 of the students came to do community work at our Home. This is the 2nd group from UKM this year. The group are well prepared with activities and games for our Residents.They even painted their own banner as remembrance. As a token of appreciation, we presented them with a souvenir for their efforts.

马来西亚红星月队社区服务-BSMM（UKM）

2012年4月29日, 的马来西亚红星月队-BSMM探访我们的中心。16名学生到我们中心厉行社区服务。这是今年UKM的第二组。该组织作好万全的活动和游戏准备给我们中心的居民。他们甚至设计自己的旗帜给我们的居民作为留念。为表谢意，我门赠送他们纪念品。再次感谢你们，我们希望明年再次看到你们。

Our Donation to an Accident Victim - Cindy Leong

As usual, we send monthly rations to our adopted accident victim Cindy Leong. She normally gets her sundries and some necessities from us.

Residents Birthday in April 2012

Four of our residents celebrated their birthday on the 18th of April. Michael, Mei Mei, Jayanthi and Yam Sai Kwan get to cut their cakes for their birthday.

Our Home Profile

Our Association was started in April 2005 with the mission of helping out the old, poor, underprivileged and retarded. The present committee which is purely voluntary took over officially in September of 2006. The Committee manages the funds, maintain the premises and take care of the welfare of the Residents. During the time of the takeover, the Association was short of funds and owed a few months of rental and utilities. The Committee has to take out funds from our own pockets to keep the Association going. Thanks to our donors, we managed to get through this difficult period.
During these few years, we worked with a few other NGO’s and Associations to give better living conditions to our Residents and even manage to help other Homes which needs help by donating our excess goods to them. Some of the Associations who work closely with us and also been a source of our support are PKIK (Persatuan Rumah Kanak-Kanak Istimewa Kajang), Furry Friends Farm (Dr Dog Therapy), Kechara Soup Kitchen (Buddhist Organisation helping out the Homeless). When we have excess in terms of foodstuff and necessities, we donate them to other Homes such as Shelter Homes, Charis Drug Rehabilitation Centre , Furry Friends Farm and a Home in Puchong.

我们的团体创办于二零零五年四月份，宗旨是积极帮助老年人，贫困者和残障人士。如今的委员们是于二零零六年九月份自愿地正式上任的。委员们主要负责处理善款，维持家居环境和照顾居民们的福利。在上任期间，我们的团体曾一度面对缺乏资金的问题和欠了数个月的房租与设施费用，成员们当时必须自掏腰包以使这个团体得以继续运作下去。也很感谢善长人士的帮助，让我们成功地度过了此次的难关。.

在这数年里，们与几个非政府团体和其他的机构合作以让我们的居民拥有更佳的生活环境。另外，我们更协助其他有需要的慈善机构，例如捐出我们多余地东西予他们。当中有几个是与我们维持着良好合作关系的慈善机构，如PKIK (Persatuan Rumah Kanak-Kanak Istimewa Kajang), Furry Friends Farm (Dr Dog Therapy), Kechara Soup Kitchen (帮助无家可归者的佛教团体)。每当有多余的食物或所需的日常用品时，我们会捐给其他的慈善机构，例如 Shelter Homes, Charis Drug Rehabilitation Centre , Furry Friends Farm 和 a Home in Puchong.

APPOINTMENT OF EXTERNAL AUDITOR June 2010

For more transparency and accountability, the Committee has decided to appoint an external auditor cum tax consultant to audit the accounts of the Society so we appointed Sekhar & Tan Suite 16-8, Level 16, Wisma UOA II, No. 21 Jalan Pinang, Kuala Lumpur. as our Auditor. 委任2010的外部帐目审查员为了使透明度和义务，我们中心的委员会已决定任命外部审计师兼税务顾问进行协会帐目审计，所以我们委任Sekhar & Tan Suite 16-8, Level 16, Wisma UOA II, No. 21 Jalan Pinang, Kuala Lumpur作为我们的审查员。
