SJKC Serdang Baru 2 - Primary School Student's Visit

This primary school students and teachers came in a tour bus to visit our Old/Retarded Home. Our Committee Chris, Linda and Soo gave a briefing to the students. We also served them refreshments. They brought along with them some clothings and donated some money to our Home.

We encourage them to visit us more to benefit the young ones as it is an eye opener to them on the underprivileged. Here, we also thank them for their time and contribution.

Donation from Hong Lai Low's Association of Malaysia

We were fortunate to received donation from Hong Lai Low's Association of Malaysia. We were among 4 Homes chosen for this donation drive. We received RM1,500 from them and sincerely thank them for their kind donation.

Donation to a Handicapped - Cindy Leong

As an NGO, we do not only help the Residents of our Home but sometimes we share our excess resources with other needy individuals/Charity Organisations.

We found Cindy one day while she was walking to the shops with a very, very bad limp. It was as if she was going to fall down anytime. We got to know that she was an accident victim and a single mother. She is staying in her brother's flat and her son is 19 years old and working with a salary of RM600.00. She also gets some help as an OKU (Orang Kurang Upaya) from the government. This income is barely enough for her and her son. We decided to give her some of our supplies every month like rice, beehoon, Milo, Milk, Biscuits etc. to subsidize her needs.

Sekolah Menengah Convent, Kajang- School Project

4 students from SK Convent visited our Old/Retarded Home to do their school project. They do their research, played and interact with our old/retarded folks.

Our sincere appreciation for their time and encouraged them to do more of these projects to benefit the underprivileged and we hope that this will be an eye opener.

Pusat Akupuntur Dan Orthopedic Po Min

Volunteers from Pusat Akupuntur Dan Orthopedic Po Min visited our old/retarded home on the 6th June 2011. They came to massage our old/retarded folks and also gave us a donation of RM300.00. They also invited our residents for free massage/acupunture sessions held at Taman Sri Langat every Monday evening.

We wish to thank them for their time and contribution.

Persatuan Kebajikan Kuan Yin Ting Ji Shi Kuala Lumpur

Members of Persatuan Kebajikan Kuan Yin Ting Ji Shi Kuala Lumpur visited us on the 4th June 2011. They brought along supplies of food, and necessities for our Home.

Resident's Birthday in May & June 2011

We celebrate our Resident's Birthday which falls in May and June. David, Anthony and Ah Loong celebrated their birthdays with the Residents.
