 Sharing our Food Supplies with Gudwara Sahib PJ

22nd December 2021. Upon reading about the efforts by Gudwara Sahib PJ to help the flood victims of the recent thunderstorm, our Home decided to quickly share whatever we can to bring relief to them.

Upon reaching the temple, we were really impressed by the amount of aid coming in from Malaysians of all walks of life and the amount of volunteers helping at the center. In times of great need we are so touched to see Malaysians, young and old, and all races working together to help each other. 20th December 2021, eve of Winter Solstice, we made Tang Yuen and cooked dinner for an early celebration with our Residents as the meals are fully booked on the actual day.

We also wish to thank my sister, Lion Wan Siew Leng from Lions Club of Kuala Krai and my mum for helping out. Lion Wan Siew Leng donated some CNY tanglung decors and homemade quilts. She also made a cash donation to the Home.
