SMK Kajang High School, Yayasan BR1M

On the 5th June 2016, a group of students from SMK Kajang High School came for Community Project at our Home. This is their Second visit.

They help to clean the premises and even donated some cash to our Residents.

Thank you very much for your time and effort

On the 10th of June, after reading about the Shelter from the Star newspaper, we brought a batch of our expired rice, oats and biscuits to donate to the dogs. We also brought along our Residents for a field trip.

The place is located in a remote area amidst orchards and fishing ponds, They have 400 rescued dogs in this place which we find very peaceful and quiet. An ideal place to locate a dog shelter.
We hope our supplies can help feed these dogs temporarily.

Our Home Profile

We are a Charity Old Folks/Handicapped Home based in Kajang, Selangor. Established in April 2005, our Association is dedicated to supporting the elderly, impoverished, and those with special needs. As a charity organization, we provide our services free of charge to our residents, who are carefully selected based on their financial circumstances and needs. Since September 2006, our committed, volunteer-led committee has been responsible for managing funds, maintaining our facilities, and ensuring the well-being of our residents. Our funds are donated by the Public and we are tax exempted. Over the years, we have strived to enhance the living conditions for our residents and extend our support to other homes in need by donating surplus goods. We work closely with organizations such as PKIK (Persatuan Rumah Kanak-Kanak Istimewa Kajang), Rumah Keluarga Kami, Furry Friends Farm (Dr Dog Therapy), and Kechara Soup Kitchen, who share our mission and support our efforts. Whenever we have extra food and necessities, we generously share them with nearby shelters, including Shelter Homes, Charis Drug Rehabilitation Centre, Furry Friends Farm, and others in our community. In addition, we also assist struggling families by providing them with monthly supplies, further extending our outreach and impact. l我们是一家位于雪兰莪州加影的乐龄残障中心。
